Bruce G. Houston, D.O.

Dr. Houston is originally from Blakely, Georgia. He received his under graduate degree from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia and Oxford College of Emory University in Oxford, Georgia. Dr. Houston graduated from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship at Hillcrest Health Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and completed his Family Practice Residency at the University of Alabama Family Practice Program in Montgomery, Alabama. Dr. Houston is Board Certified in Family Practice by the American Board of Family Practice. He is a member of the American Academy Family Practice and the Georgia Academy of Family Practice. He has extensive experience in occupational medicine having previously served as the company physician for the local Miller Brewing Company, and the M. and Mars Company for 22 Years. He is on staff at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and Phoebe North Hospital. Dr. Houston is married to Sandy, a local CPA. Together they have two children, Heather and Harrison. He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing and hunting.

Dr. Houston joined Medical Associates of Albany, P.C. in May 1999.
